Marc Horton is a licensed professional engineer, has served over 40 years of public and private sector environmental experience at all levels including 18 years with the Washington Department of Ecology and eventually serving as Deputy Director of the agency. He has worked as an environmental and engineering consultant for over 20 years, and has served as Director of Environmental and Engineering Services for the Port of Grays Harbor for several years.
Marc has a broad background covering virtually all aspects of project development and environmental regulation. He has many years of experience with public health, environmental regulations, and administration of multi-faceted programs. All of his experience has allowed him to direct projects meeting the evolving focus and concerns relating to the environment, while balancing the need to find solutions to meet the needs of a growing population and economy.
Marc has a MS degree in chemistry from the University of Washington and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Washington.
